Dans Wolf:ET, la fonction Alt+Tab n'a jamais été prévu par les développeurs du jeu, afin de basculer immédiatement entre le jeu et le bureau du système d'exploitation. Finalement une solution a vue le jour par des joueurs, le petit programme Etmin, le minimizer pour Wolf:ET.
Du coup, les gars de Quakewars.co.nz ont créé ETQWmin, permettant de basculer directement du jeu ETQW au bureau, mais fonctionnant aussi avec Wolf:ET.
[modifier] Fonctionnement
Il faut lancer le programme avant de lancer le jeu. Alt+Q minimise le jeu dans la barre des taches, ou le restaure si il est déjà minimisé. Il prend aussi en charge les résolutions écrans.
Ne fonctionne pas avec Windows Vista et Windows XP 64bits.
It does NOT do anything other than change the display resolution and minimise the application using standard Windows API calls. etmin (the program pimped out at many big games sites) is quite different and interacts with the config of W:ET which causes it to be seen as a hack by PunkBuster. This program does nothing funky with the games, so PunkBuster is fine with it. It won't work on loading screens (i.e. you have to be logged into ETQW before it will minimize/restore properly).
It was compiled on a 32-bit install of Windows XP Pro using Visual Studio 2005, it may not work with Vista or 64-bit XP Installations.
